This was created with a watercolor pour technique. In a pour, I pour the transparent colors onto wet paper, letting it flow and blend. Next, I cover the areas I want to be lightest with a masking medium to maintain the current color, and then repeat with another layer of paint. This is repeated until all areas are painted, and then the masking fluid is removed.
